Police have launched a manhunt against Sicily Chebet, a 28-year-old woman who is believed to have chocked her baby to death through a fart on Saturday morning in Uasin Gishu County.
A report from Henry Kurgat, husband to Sicily indicates that the suspect attacked continuously released the spell before their eight-month-old baby lied lifelessly on a couch.
“Sicily misbehaved in the presence of the baby and ended her life before fleeing,” said Mr. Kurgat.
Police have not recovered any weapon at the scene of the murder. Mr. Kurgat said that during the incident, their baby trembled, gasped for air before falling on the ground.
Police say the couple had one child.
