In the sunset days of Dennis Itumbi as a senior director of Digital Communications at State House since President Uhuru Kenyatta was elected in 2013,he narrates how he was one day assaulted by Margaret Kenyatta in front of the glaring cameras.
On October 20, Itumbi says he was on his way to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta at Statehouse only for the first lady to accuse him of bringing alcohol as part of conspiracy to hoodwink his husband to kick Raila Odinga out of the government.
“She slapped me in the face in front of President Kenyatta at State House, a move that I found was very humiliating,” Itumbi tells.
Itumbi who has now changed his Twitter bio from Secretary of Digital Communications at the Presidential Strategic and Communication Unit to a “pig farmer” hours after being fired maintains that the President has been held captive in his own government.
The five have been asked to return government property in their possession including official badges.
