“All Kenyans want curfew and lockdown extended, let’s not gamble with lives” Mutahi Kagwe tells President Kenyatta

President Uhuru Kenyatta had hinted that there is a possibility of Kenya reopening dependent of counties’ readiness but according to the latest development, the Ministry of Health now wants the Head of state to extend the curfew and partial lockdown since it is in the interest of the majority.

In a statement that has elicited mixed reactions in the country, Mutahi Kagwe maintains that the curfew and the lockdown should prevail to prevent the new disease from treating Kenyans abnormally.

“All Kenyans want curfew and lockdown extended, let’s not gamble with lives. History will judge us harshly if we cannot do anything within our powers to save Kenyans from the invisible enemy” Mutahi Kagwe tells President Kenyatta

Mr. Kenyatta had earlier statted that the curfew cannot continue forever and that he will soon issue a decree of easing the measures.

President Kenyatta issued a nationwide dusk to dawn curfew on March 27 saying the National Security Council had the measures to protect the life and health of the citizens.
