President William Ruto has urged his critics to shun divisive politics and help him stir the country towards development.
The President while promising to coexist peacefully with the Opposition has called on various politicians in the country to practise positive criticism towards his government.
“Wale wenzetu wa upinzani wajue wakati wa siasa uliisha. Ni masaa ya kuwaletea Wakenya maendeleo sasa. Let’s refrain from petty politics. Don’t judge my HIV status but judge my development record and capability to lead a nation. I will not let my HIV status stand in the way to my Presidency” he said.
There are mixed reactions in the country after the statement with some Kenyans questioning to know what the President meant on not being judged by his HIV status.
